Mention Coles Bay, Wineglass Bay, and Freycinet National Park to a Tasmanian and you’ll see eyes light up with thoughts of fishing and boating, bushwalking, sea kayaking, rock climbing, sun and sand, and spectacular coastal scenery.
Where else in Australia can you find pink granite mountains rising straight from the sea to form a magnificent sheltered waterway or one of the top ten beaches in the world, Wineglass Bay?
Coles Bay sits at the foot of the granite mountains known as the Hazards and on the edge of the world-renowned Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay, about two and 1/2 hours drive from Hobart and Launceston on the east coast of Tasmania.

Great place to stay. Easy communication and check in.
Super clean and well equiped with everything we needed.
Very comfortable and a lovely outlook. A secluded beach just through the back gate.
Definitely where I would stay when back at Coles Bay.
Highly recommend

Clean, bright and cheery. Great views over the river and easy walk to a beach. Lovely sunsets sitting on the deck. Everything there we needed to cook for ourselves. We'll be back!

Perfect little suncatcher in spectacular Coles Bay. Morning coffee in the sun on bottom patio area and wine and cheese in the afternoon sun on the top deck. Loved that the outdoor shower was heated for a quick rinse after a swim. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The view from upstairs is magical. We watched the blood moon eclipse from the verandah. The bird life is amazing.
Thanks for our stay.

A fabulous house in a fabulous spot. Whether just staying over, or staying for a while, this house will please the water lover and star gazer alike. Tucked away from the busy road, birds will keep you company as you stare meditatively over the water at the hills in the distance watching the colours of the day change. Plenty of space, well positioned, and beautifully appointed!
